Wealthyhood Europe
Greek custodian and wealth-building app

Introduction

Wealthyhood Europe is a Greek-regulated custodian and wealth-building app. The company aims to guide European, and especially Greek, millennials in creating a fully personalised investment portfolio that matches their preferences, encourages continual investment through low fees, and can be automatically maintained.

How we helped

Wealthyhood UK was an existing tenant of WealthKernel and was among the first to use our real-time US equity trading infrastructure. Earlier, they had tapped WealthKernel to build and offer ETFs to their customers.

For their Greek operations, Wealthyhood was looking to continue to use WealthKernel’s API-first brokerage and custody to speed up their processes, move customer money internally and allocate cash to relevant portfolios before trading.  With WealthKernel, the company will now be able to service Greek customers at speed. Under the proposed model, Wealthyhood can have individual sub-accounts under a main account, managed by a single party. It also allows deposits, trading, and dividends to flow smoothly through our platform, facilitating transaction monitoring and settlement.

With WealthKernel’s infrastructure, Wealthyhood Europe’s customers will be able to have access to brokerage accounts where they can deposit funds in Euros, and trade in US equities, EU ETFs, and more. WealthKernel’s API-based custody will also simplify Wealthyhood’s ability to manage money movement, corporate actions, transaction reporting, and client statements.

Why it matters

Wealthyhood and WealthKernel share a common mission of democratising access to finance. By partnering with WealthKernel, the company is helping Greek millennials to start their investment journey with accessible, smart tools and personalised guidance.

As our first European tenant, Wealthyhood highlights WealthKernel’s readiness to cater to the European market. It also shows how we can scale our technology and capabilities to adapt to varying regulatory and operational demands.
